Patsara Thai Restaurant (Vancouver)

I’d been to Patsara Thai Restaurant (809 Seymour Street at Robson) on two other occasions prior to this particular visit, but I just hadn’t had time to post about them.

On this visit, I had Calamari and Tom Yum Seafood.

The calamari was served with spicy sauce and some salad, while the latter was spicy and sour soup seasoned with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, chillies, lime juice, mushrooms, tomatoes, and various types of seafood including prawns, fish fillets, and oysters.

I find that the calamari wasn’t enough – yes, I realize it’s an appetizer, but still, at other establishments appetizers are bigger. The portions at Patsara weren’t generous at all. Even the soup … had just two prawns, for instance.

Overall, pricey for the amount of food, in my opinion.
