Chipotle Mexican Grill (Re-Visit)

This was a second visit to the Chipotle Mexican Grill location at Metrotown back in late February. By that time, the daily long lineups had slowly disappeared, and it was now, shall we say, not as packed as it had been in its first few weeks of operation.

I had a Chicken Burrito and Chips, and the total was C$10.66 including taxes.

For the burrito, there was a generous amount of chicken and beans in there, but there was really no “wow” factor. I must say, though, the burrito was very filling for me. For fast food, I would say it’s really pricey – and I’d been to Chipotle’s twice in the month of February already – so I doubt I would be returning again in the near future. After all, all of their items – burritos, tacos, bowls, and salads – start at C$8.95 plus tax (which comes to C$9.40) and there’s no “wow” factor for me. And this particular meal cost nearly 11 bucks, even without a beverage.

When: Friday, February 20, 2015
What:
Chicken Burrito (C$8.95); Chips (C$1.20)
Where: Chipotle Mexican Grill, Metrotown location, 2200-4700 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC
How Much: C$10.15 plus tax (or C$10.66 total)
