After picking up a fruit smoothie at Renaissance Coffee in the AQ at SFU Burnaby on Tuesday, I went downstairs to the Triple O’s to pick up an Original Burger. The Original Burger was only C$3.33 on Tuesdays as part of the Triple “O” Tuesday special, so it was a pretty good deal. (You could get a combo if you paid an extra C$3.50 too.) Even though the lineup wasn’t long and I didn’t have to wait to place my order, the burger for some reason took longer than usual. Oh well.
The Original Burger is their basic burger with beef patty topped with their famous Triple “O” sauce, lettuce, tomato, and a dill pickle on top. (I ate the pickle before taking the picture. 🙂 ) According to the Triple O’s website, they use 100% real Canadian beef in their burgers.
Not bad as a on-the-go snack for under four bucks when you’ve got classes or midterms to get to! Or if you don’t, there are a couple of TVs at either end of the dining area, and on this end the Blue Jays-Mariners game was on, with Dalton Pompey just hitting a home run off Felix Hernandez in what turned out to be a 10-2 Toronto victory.
